StationLog — a free tool for community radio
StationLog is a free, all-in-one tool built for community radio broadcasters. It started because a couple of volunteers were sick of chasing listener feedback on Post-It notes and tracking faults in group chats. If your station runs on goodwill and gaffer tape, this is for you.
It's free. Not "free trial" free — actually free for community stations. We want to help.
What it does
- Listener feedback & complaints log — every comment, complaint and compliment in one place, with timestamps and follow-up notes so nothing gets dropped.
- Technical fault log — anyone in the studio can flag a fault, assign it, and watch it through to fix. No more "did anyone tell the tech?".
- Equipment & cable register — know what gear you own, where it lives, when it's due for service, and which cable feeds the desk.
- Program guide — keep your schedule, presenters and absences tidy, and publish a public grid your listeners can actually read.
- AGM and board elections — nominations, voting and results, all online, with the voting systems your constitution asks for.
- ACMA compliance reports — exportable records of complaints and how you handled them, ready when the regulator (or your board) asks.
- Public links for listeners — share a clean URL so listeners can send feedback or report a transmitter outage without making an account.
Why we built it
Community radio matters. It's local voices, niche music, language programs, emergency info — the stuff commercial radio won't touch. The people running it are mostly volunteers giving up evenings and weekends, and the tools they've had to use weren't built with them in mind.
StationLog is our way of giving something back. There's no enterprise sales pitch, no upsell funnel, no "book a demo" wall. Just the tool. Use it for free, forever.
Pricing
Free forever — listener feedback, fault logging, equipment, cable register, program guide, compliance reports and more.
Optional SMS + Premium — a few dollars a month if you want SMS fault alerts or want to run online elections. Only if you need it.
